An excellent pairing!
Andrea was recommended to us halfway through our son’s A-levels when, during COVID lockdown, he was having a challenging time with independent learning and falling far behind on Maths. Andrea spent two sessions a week with him and the turnaround was remarkable, bringing his test results up from a D to an A at exam time. As our son was a weekly boarder, Andrea interacted directly with him to arrange their sessions and made him accountable for his work, her professionalism evidently rubbing off on him. It was an excellent pairing and we couldn’t be more grateful to Andrea for the time she spent with our son, the care she took taking him through the curriculum, and for helping our son find it in himself to turn his results around.Simone

Andrea has been amazing with both of my children; helping them with GCSE, A-level and Oxford Entrance test level work (face to face and online). She is professional, clear, thorough and goes over and beyond to explain topics which cause confusion. Even more importantly, she encouraged my children to think independently and take ownership of their work and identify the areas they wanted to work on. A fantastic help
Andrea was an essential part of me getting my grade at A level. She helped push me from a low A grade pupil to getting an A* in the exams. Her flexibility in sessions made it easy to fit around school times and she was there for me in all holidays to help me get up to date with different topics and for the final exam push. I also worked with her over one Summer to cover the whole Further Maths Mechanics syllabus for Oxford entry. She was very clear with her explanations and knew what I needed to focus on. She made me enjoy maths
Andrea came very highly recommended and I really don’t think my girls would have managed without her. She is a patient and thorough teacher, who worked at the pace my girls needed. And we all loved her dog!
